画像データを効率的に管理するためのPACS再構築─
クラウドコンピューティングサービスを導入した理由─

既に多くの施設がPACSを導入し、再構築を検討する時期に来ている。初期導入とは異なり、膨大な画像保管
容量に伴い、データ移行に時間と費用が発生する。また、昨今震災などを経験し、外部保存やクラウドコンピュー
ティングサービスの導入など災害に強いPACSの構築が検討されている。
今日では柔軟なシステム構築が可能となった。様々な施設の構築事例を参考にし、データの効率的なマネージ
メントを行い、施設の要求にマッチしたシステム構築が必要である。
Many hospitals are currently under consideration of replacement of a PACS system; however, it needs an enormous time and cost for data migration. Besides, lessons from natural disaster happened in the past several years have been accelerating to shift to cloud data storage or make sufficient preparations for those disasters. It is now much easier than ever to build a flexible system. A system to be installed in a hospital should be different from one to another; however, we can refer and share the experiences from the others.
